Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a 9×13 baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a stand mixer bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast; let it proof for 2–5 minutes until bubbly.
  3. Add vegetable oil, salt, egg, and flour (one cup at a time), mixing on low speed until combined. Knead with a stand mixer for about 4 minutes until the dough is soft but not sticky.
  4. Shape the dough into 15 balls and place them in the prepared pan. Cover with a towel while the oven preheats to allow the dough to rise.
  5. Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown. Brush with melted butter before serving.
