  • 5 Apples (cored and peeled)
  • 28 oz Cream cheese (room temp)
  • 3 cups Graham cracker crumbs
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 3/4 cup Flour
  • 2/3 cup Brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apple filling by cooking chopped apples with sugar, spices, lemon juice, and butter until tender. Thicken with cornstarch.
  2. Make the crust by mixing graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon; press into a springform pan.
  3. In a bowl, blend cream cheese with sugar and eggs until smooth; layer half over the crust followed by half of the apple filling. Repeat layers.
  4. Bake at 325°F (160°C) for about 60 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
  5. Prepare the crumble topping by mixing flour, oats, sugar, salt, and melted butter; sprinkle over cooled cheesecake.
  6. Chill for at least four hours before serving.
