  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix (halal-certified)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Optional: sour cream for serving, chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and cut the baby potatoes into halves or quarters.
  3. Slice the smoked sausage into 1/4-inch rounds.
  4. In a small bowl, mix ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
  5. Toss the potatoes with olive oil and half of the seasoning mixture in a large bowl.
  6. Spread the coated potatoes on a parchment-lined baking sheet.

  8. Roast for about 35-40 minutes, stirring halfway through.
