  • 1 lb wild-caught shrimp
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 lime (zest and juice)
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 3 cups finely shredded green cabbage
  • Avocado, sliced
  • 8 tortillas (corn or flour)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, chili powder, olive oil, lime zest and juice, honey, and half of the chopped cilantro. Add shrimp and marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook marinated shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove from heat.
  3. In another bowl, mix shredded cabbage, Greek yogurt, remaining lime juice, and cilantro. Season with salt to taste.
  4. Warm tortillas in a skillet or microwave until pliable. Layer creamy slaw on each tortilla followed by cooked shrimp and avocado slices.
  5. Serve immediately with extra lime wedges.
