  • 1 cup cane sugar
  • 2 tsps baking powder

  • 1 cup almond milk, unsweetened + COLD (or whole milk)
  • 2 tsps freshly-squeezed lemon juice
  • 6 Tbsps COLD unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 6 (15 oz.) cans organic peach slices, drained well (or fresh peaches)
  • 1 cup organic cane sugar
  • 1/2 cup organic brown sugar
  • 3 Tbsps cornstarch + 6 Tbsps warm water (or substitute with flour)
  • 1 1/2 tsps My Dessert Lover Blend
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (or salted butter without added salt)
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp freshly-squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups organic all-purpose flour
  • 2 Tbsps organic cane sugar
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, COLD + cubed
  • 1/4-1/3 cup COLD almond milk
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp almond milk, unsweetened

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix drained peaches with sugars, cornstarch, vanilla, and lemon juice; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly, then add cold almond milk.
  4. Spread half the crust mixture into the baking dish, layer with peach filling, then top with remaining crust.
  5. Bake for about 55 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
