  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small green cabbage, chopped
  • 6-8 cups chicken or vegetable stock
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a large stockpot over medium heat, cook ground pork for about 5-6 minutes until lightly browned. Use a slotted spoon to remove the pork and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, add olive oil and onion; sauté for 5 minutes. Then add carrots and garlic; cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  3. Stir in cabbage, stock, ginger, and cooked pork. Bring to a simmer, cover, and let it cook on medium-low heat for about 15 minutes until vegetables are tender.
  4. Add sesame oil and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper before serving.
