  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound pasta (any type)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil, add shrimp, and cook until pink (2-3 minutes). Remove the shrimp.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened (3-4 minutes), then stir in flour for 1 minute.
  5. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth; simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  6. Stir in cheddar and Parmesan cheeses with salt and pepper until melted.
  7. Combine cooked pasta and shrimp with the cheese sauce thoroughly.
  8. Pour into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
