  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 packages hot cocoa mix (or 3/4 cup)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Mallow Bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, hot cocoa mix, salt, baking soda, and baking powder.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture until just blended. Stir in chocolate chips and Mallow Bits.
  5. Chill the dough covered in plastic wrap for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Drop tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets, spaced about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until edges are lightly browned. Cool for a few minutes on the sheet before transferring to wire racks.
