Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter (divided)
  • Crushed red pepper flakes (to taste)
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Sear the steak pieces seasoned with salt and pepper for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add remaining butter, garlic, and red pepper flakes; sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
  4. Add uncooked rotini and water or broth to the skillet. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cover; simmer for 10–12 minutes until pasta is al dente.
  5. Return seared steak to the skillet, stir well to combine all ingredients in the creamy sauce.
  6. Adjust seasoning if needed, garnish with parsley or extra Parmesan before serving hot.
