  • 5 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, brown the Italian sausage until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
  2. Add butter followed by diced onions, carrots, celery, and minced garlic. Sauté until softened (about 5-7 minutes).
